Waking up to the news that a celebrity is getting married isn't really a surprise but when these celebrities begin to flood social media with photos of their weddings without any prior knowledge of fans and the media, now that's a surprise!
Over the last few months, celebrities
in Nigeria have devised a new way of having their weddings without the
usual fuss that comes with it.
Now let's take it back to the past when these celebrities got married, the razzmatazz that came with was epic.
From Gbenro Ajibade and Osas Ighodaro to Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz, we've seen celebrity weddings turn into a carnival of a sort (both weddings were aired on television stations).
We can't even forget the biggest and most talked about wedding of 2017 between Banky W and Adesua Etomi.
The
wedding ceremony was attended by literally everyone in the
entertainment industry despite Banky W's choice of having a regular
wedding devoid of social buzz and attention.

some of these celebrities have decided to take things slow and catch
everyone by surprise with their weddings because they don't really want
and can't contain the kind of crowd that usually show up at celebrity
weddings.
Another reason we might be having surprise weddings is that of the jinx that comes with big celebrity weddings.
